This Subway has the worse customer service EVER and very NASTY conditions!! It's an ideal location for individuals in the downtown Detroit area, working or visiting. Perfect for the courthouse employees, visitors and citizens. I visited this location, as I was on lunch break from Jury duty. Myself and a few other people went inside during the normal lunch rush hour, perhaps around 12:15 on a Tuesday.
First, there was no greeting upon entering the store. Every Subway I visited, an employee greets you upon entering the store. Secondly, there was no line, (This should have given me an indicator not to eat here). After placing my order, I gave the cashier, (terrible attitude..just awful young girl with her face frowned up) my credit card. As she looks over her shoulder to check if my order was ready, she stands there and proceed to clean her fingernails with the edges of my credit card!!!! I was in disbelief, as she pops the dirt from her nails in the direction of my sub. I immediately ask, "What are you doing? That is my credit card, not a fingernail file!" This BUM girl, stands there and look at me, and with audacity, she says, "Well, what you won't (not want, but won't) me to do?"
I stood in disbelief and asked her to at least wipe it off...she runs my credit card under the sink behind her, and gives it back to me dripping wet!! UN-FREAKING-BELIEVEABLE!!!!! I ask for a manager, and another young girl behind the counter, whom I thought could have been a manager, simple ask the cashier, why did she do that?!?! Are you kidding me!!!! I guess they thought it was joke...I snatched my card and left.
I attempted to reach out to the owner of this location and haven't heard back! I am deeply disgusted and will continue to spread the word to anyone looking to have lunch or simply eat at this location. There was vomit on the ground right at the front door and insects flying around inside the store. NEVER will I again, eat at this location and I would not recommend anyone else eating there as well. -

Disgusting, lady just sneezed on my bread in front of numerous customers, then refused to replace it, said she missed the bread with her sneeze.

The staff is rude! While I appreciate their attempts to move the line along, they are not courteous in doing so. Skipping over people in line if they are not ready, expecting customers to yell their order while they have their backs turned still helping others, rushing decisions, openly complaining about being at work since 8 (when it was only 12pm). Then talking back to customers and yelling at them on the way out the door! In Addition, "KeKe's" hair was not groomed or professional for the public. This place is sad and disgraceful.

Unreliable. Stayed at nearby hotel and wanted simple dinner during my stay. Went there once with no issues. Went back another night around 620 and they were closed... When hours say open til 7. Tried them again a different night around 545 and the girl got mad when I ordered a salad and told me she was closing at 615. Tonight, I called them at 615 to see if they were open and a girl hung up on me. Called back and was sent to voicemail. Would not recommend... Will not be going back. Should just close the store.
